About Energie Fuel
In 2017, Chris Hammer, Co-Founder and President, launched Energie Fuel with a vision to bring greater freedom, better tools, and stronger support to the fuel card industry. The company was founded in Chula Vista, California, in the southern part of San Diego County. From the start, Energie Fuel has partnered with respected companies such as Petroleum RX, Lakeview Petroleum, TaxTraks, Corpay, and CFN to deliver strong fuel cards, accounting, energy analysis, and fuel management solutions. As a result, we formed a strong coalition to support businesses across San Diego County and nationwide.
Today, we offer some of the most affordable fuel access card options on the market, designed to meet a wide range of business needs.
In addition, Energie Fuel operates as a fully integrated group that supports your business with bulk fuel, mobile fueling, bulk DEF in all packaging formats, and bulk oil and lubricants. Our combined companies deliver best-in-class solutions with consistent, high-quality service. Meanwhile, we continue to develop new tools and build new partnerships—so stay tuned for what’s next!
Our Goals
For decades, only large organizations and fleets have accessed wholesale fuel and national fueling networks. However, with the right tools and strong support, companies can now track usage more effectively and plan for real savings. With more than 50 years of combined experience across the fuel, automotive, finance, and service industries, we clearly recognized this growing need.
Today, many drivers operate their own service vehicles, box trucks, food trucks, or commercial 18-wheelers. At the same time, small businesses and operations rely on rental equipment across agriculture, construction, moving, and event setup. As a result, organizations must offer stronger, more competitive benefits to attract and retain talent. Working with Energie Fuel is always a great experience. In the few times we have needed to troubleshoot a card not working, they strive to solve the problem during the same phone call and always have a great attitude.

They are quick to respond to our requests through email and phone and ship new cards quickly, most of the time within the same week. Their invoices and reporting make it easy to understand where and when transactions took place.
They keep security in mind by applying the appropriate settings to our fuel cards to keep transactions in line. They also help us find the best sites along our different routes so we can save money on fuel costs wherever possible. Highly recommended as another great asset to our company.

About Chris Hammer
Bouncing from job to job in my early 20’s, I fell into fuel management and the Petro-industry. I got an opportunity and took it, thinking I would end up like Scrooge by the age of 25. I assume it would be easy, or at least easier than other places, but I was wrong. Life quickly humbled me and taught me that you could not be driven by only money. Thankfully, it provided me with a learning lesson and awareness. Valuable life lessons that I carry with me to this day.
I enjoy helping businesses through offering valuable services and products. Energie Fuel Group, in partnership with Lakeview Petroleum, helps businesses of all sizes and industries save money on their fuel expenses. We’ve worked together to offer fuel card programs, bulk fuel, lubricant, DEF supply, and various premium additives for all fleet applications. I work with a great team that I am proud of.
